Yes: It is common to have changes in your vision occur if you are recently diagnosed with diabetes, your sugars have been high for a while, and the medication is effective in lowering your sugar levels to normal range. As your sugar levels come down, your eyes will change in shape and size until several weeks after your sugars get to normal levels.

Yes- good thing: You vision is changing because your sugar is getting better. Your eyes have gotten used to you sugar being very high and are slow adapting to the new you. Give it time, in a month or 2 it will return. Maybe get some cheap reading glasses. If you spend a lot on new ones you will have to buy them again in a few months.
