Probably not: I ran a drug interaction program for Metformin and chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus) and there are zero interactions. However make sure you are taking the drugs as prescribed. For Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Metformin is precribed as 500mg (immediate-release). 1 pill oral 3 times per day. or 850-1000 mg oral (immediate release) twice daily. Or 1500-2000mg (extended release) once daily.
