Paresthesia: Numbness or generalized parenthesis is commonly described in many patients including those with no medical problems, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, anxiety, medications side effect, thyroid side effects, etc. Check with your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment if indicated. Unlikely MS: Most commonly, these sorts of issues are caused by nocturnal positioning which compresses peripheral nerves. Very common is carpal tunnel syndrome affecting nerves at wrist. There are folks who possess easy sensitivity to nerve compression due to their heredity. If this persists, perhaps your doctor can get involved.
