Im having my gallbladder surgery 3-3-14 monday. i was wondering if i could dye my hair before than. would it be ok?

Dye hair: It is not a good idea to dye your hair just before surgery. You could have some reaction to the dye that would interfer with the surgery plans.

Common sense: Since the site is far away from your head, if you fully rinse very carefully to be sure no chemicals are left that might irritate your scalp if you cannot shampoo for longer than usual, let the team know of any 'stains' so they don't panic mistaking them as reactions and use a familiar product - it should be ok. But if you'll worry, skip it. Feeling confident is the key - do what feels best.
