Possible: First of all, uric acid stones are difficult to visualize on standard x-rays. The only way to see them clearly is by ct scan. Secondly, renal stones are rarely painful unless they are quite large. I would recommend that you see a urologist and have adequate diagnosis of your stone situation. Urologists are the surgeons who actually treat kidney stones.
