Autism;Eyes: As you may know, some autistic children have eye pain and other eye situations. The eval by a neuro-ophamologist is a good idea. Also check out great plains laboratory that deals a lot with lab testing autistic folks and has info on their website that may be informative.

Yes, but not emergen: It would be a good idea, especially as visual processing is often an issue. Along with that, an evaluation by a pediatric neurologist, and testing for auditory processing would be useful and potentially add a lot of information to your child's therapeutic plan. That said, waiting until he can cooperate a bit more with testing, would be fine.
