Not likely: An early thirties female with post-auricular pain likely has occipital neuritis or tendinitis of superior trapezius at occiput, especially with pain to palpation or with range of motion of neck. If there are not these findings and if pain is constant then see a doctor. Concerns increase if there is dizziness or use of cigarettes and taking of birth control pills, a bad combination. See a doctor.
