A member asked:

What are some causes for a sudden change in vision that lasts more than a month, accompanied with neurological problems/symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eye or brain: Changes in vision can result from disorders affecting the eye, the optic nerve, or the brain. Important in distinguishing between these is whether the change occurs only in one eye, or both eyes. This helps to localize the problem. Migraines, for example, can present with visual changes and headaches. Other neurological symptoms need to be described in more detail to know it might represent.
