It depends: On how anxious you were, and whether this was a 1 time dose. Such a dose might be needed for someone who is extremely anxious. Dose and safety also depend on what other medications or substances (including alcohol) that the person was using. If Lorazepam is going to be used for longer than a 1 time dose, usually one would start lower.
