See a psychiatrist.: You might want to try a smaller dose of Lorazepam especially if you take it at work. A better way of relieving stress would be to take an antidepressant which you can take for a longer period of time. Lorazepam should only be used for a short period of time until the antidepressant which usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to start work ing. Psychotherapy with the medications work in combination.

Not chronically: Lorazepam 2mg is a strong dose. Used over time, it's habit-forming also. For "stress at work" you may benefit much more from talk therapy to understand and deal with your anxieties. In general, i would not recommend being on this dose of Lorazepam chronically. Hoping you're working with a psychiatrist and/or psychologist, so that you get the best evaluations and help possible.
