BXO: Balanitis xerotica obliterans is also known as lichen sclerosis of the penis. It is most common in uncircumcised penises and can cause urethral obstructive symptoms when it involves the urethral meatus or distal urethra. If this is the case, you may need to find a urologist familiar with the plastic repair of such urethral narrowing. Topical or intralesional steroids can be helpful in mild case.
