If your therapist is not helping at this time - a referral might be good. You're hurting a lot and may not believe that it can get better - but it can. Also, suicide is permanent. Also, it never disappears as a last, desperate choice. So, save it till you've tried everything.

Please let your : Parents know how suicidal you are feeling. If you are having strong thoughts about taking your life now - they need to take you to the nearest emergency room. I am not sure what kind of therapist you see - but most strongly recommend that you work with a therapist that specializes in dialectical behavioral therapy. This type of therapy is likely to be more effective to you. I agree with dr. >.
