3rd time this winter fiance' has gotten sick. always starts out with a bad cough that leads to vomiting for 2-3 days. is it more serious than a cold?

More then a cold: Recurrent cough that is so bad that it leads to vomiting sounds like more then just a virus. It may be a asthma problem. Sinusitis, allergies, acid reflux and pertussis are possibilities. He should be seen by a doctor that will be able to follow up until he has the right diagnosis and treatment. You want him 100% for the wedding!
