Stop: First, don't try to treat yourself - you could well harm yourself. You may have an enlarged lymph node or a salivary gland nodule. You may just have a lipoma or sebaceous cyst. Regardless, see your doctor , who will refer you on if needed. Again, do not try to lance or otherwise rupture the area. Good luck.

Do it yourself?: Large bumps are often a sign of major infection. If it involves your jaw, your first stop should be at a dentist office. They need to x-ray your mouth and determine what your exact problem is so they may appropriately treat it or refer you to the correct specialist. See a dentist asap, as any swelling/infection will only get worse.
