Other causes: When you had acute hemorrhagic cystitis it was documented by cystoscopy & you were symptomatic. But you say you "always"have blood in urine.Whether it is microscopic or visible to the eye it is still blood. This is why your doctor wants radiographic study because there are many causes of hematuria above the bladder which will not show at cystoscopy. Go ahead with doctor's advice.Good luck
