Red flag: Abrupt onset of a new or different type of severe headache and accompanied by an abnormal neurological symptoms are red flags. Because the location of the headache is bifrontal in, it is not unusual for the headache to be misdiagnosed as a tension-type headache. Rec.: see headache or orofacial pain specialist.
