Neck & Headache: Some types of headaches are, in fact, stress headaches. In this case, the muscles in the shoulder and neck are extremely tense or tight. They cause the muscles in the front of the head (the frontalis) to be pulled or spasm. Therefore, the individual can have pain in the back of the neck and pain in the front of the head. You should also see a MD to make sure that this is a tension related headache
