Once or twice: Dry sockets can be controlled in as few as one visit, but could take several visits to manage completely.

Depends: We all heal at different rates. Depends on severity of the bone exposure, your personal immune system, your overall health, your diet, your personal oral hygiene, and many other factors. Sometimes once is enough, sometimes socket has to be repacked several times.For most people the discomfort gradually abates over a week or two. Trust the Dentist/Oral Surgeon to provide appropriate guidance.
