MDI: Sounds like you have a condition of generalized ligamentous laxuty that is causing your joints to 'pop and grind'. If your shoulder 'slips' or pops or goes' dead' occasionally w/ activities or when u sleep ors characterize this condition as multidirectional instability ( mdi).Of course , if you develop pain w/ above or symptoms worsen, see your pcp for referral to an ors for definitive dx.
