Depends: When you get sleepy or fall asleep after eating is not that unusual of a problem. But it may depend upon when this happens, is it after eating a heavy meal, does this happen after normal activities besides eating? If in doubt, I would see a Dr. whom may refer you to a sleep specialist. You may need a sleep study, besides a thorough exam.
