HIV does not hide: There is a quiet phase in most people infected with HIV, but there is no "Hiding". HIV infection is diagnosable by HIV testing after an infection. A negative test results after the appropriate waiting period is a negative result. There is no "HIDING". Dormant phase is a phase we now know where there is ongoing and continuous immune destruction but the body is able to maintain immune function.
