Repair: Enterocele is when the small bowel dips down into the pelvis and may prolapse out the vagina or other opening. Laparoscopic techniques involve minimally invasively (with small incisions and a camera) going in to fix the problem. It sometimes is associated with the repair of prolapse of other organs, and may involve the use of mesh.
