Drain it or not: Most of these are self-limiting. They can be drained and will resolve. Don't worry. They are usually no big deal.

Observation : In general, all seromas should initially be observed, and almost all with resolve on their own. Of it is causing a problem such as significant pain or redness of the skin, it may need to be drained with a needle. If this is the case, make sure a drain is not left inside, as it is very risky for infection. Better to need another drainage than have an infection. Hope this helps!
