Depends: Which treatment options are available depends on why you are being offered a hysterectomy. Hormonal therapy, nsaid, pessary, endometrial ablation or other therapies may be appropriate. To determine what alternative treatment would be reasonable for you discuss with your gyn. Hysterectomy is almost never the only option.
