Overbite: Overbite is how far your upper front teeth come down over your lower front teeth. Overjet is how far forward your upper front teeth are from your lower front teeth.

Overjet is amount of horizontal overlap of front teeth. Overbite is vertical overlap. Each should be approximately 2mm. If not, seek Initial Examination by a specialist Orthodontist (usually free) for assessment of the severity of your malocclusion and discussion of possible treatment.
