Depends on factors: Combined double lung and liver transplant is a big undertaking and usually reserved for few patients with: severe pulmonary hypertension associated with liver failure, not responsive to medications; cystic fibrosis patients with liver failure and sarcoidosis patients with liver and lung involvement. Only a few are done a year in the US. One year patient survival would be around 60%.
