Specializes in Cardiac Electrophysiology

See cardiologist: The symptoms you're describing are likely simply premature beats, which are not usually dangerous, but may also be signs of an abnormal heart rhythm, like supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). You should see a heart rhythm specialist (cardiac electrophysiologist) for evaluation and possible testing and treatment. Call 911 if short of breath, chest pain, dizziness, or passing out is associated.
