A member asked:

Has xanex ever killed any one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Benzodiazepines in general, and Alprazolam in particular, are associated with many overdose deaths, in particular when they are combined with alcohol or other depressant drugs, especially opiates. In addition, individuals who are taking enough xanax (alprazolam) for long enough become physically dependent, and sudden withdrawal can cause seizures which can result in brain damage and even death, and delirium.
