Having a root canal today. now i know xanax (alprazolam) is not dangerously interacting with local anesthetic could it be reacting with meds used to kill the nerve?

Safe and recommended: because Xanax (alprazolam) may enhance the analgesic efficacy of local anesthetic. Also, Xanax (alprazolam) is considered as a drug of choice for dentist anxiety. There are no interaction between Xanax (alprazolam) and local anesthetic.
