Xanax (alprazolam): What are you looking to feel -- a buzz, or relief of anxiety? Xanax (alprazolam) may not produce signs of intoxication if that's what you're seeking. You have also not said how strong your xanax (alprazolam) pills are, whether they're new to you, whether you've been using other benzodiazepines or alcohol, etc. Please talk with your physician about this -- s/he may provide a better answer since s/he knows your history.

Will a whole 0.25 Xanax (alprazolam) cause me to feel spaced out or cause derealization? This is why i'm nervous to take whole one but half don't relax me much.
I'm on Xanax (alprazolam) 0.25mg for anxiety and i can take a whole one if needed. A half doesn't help on bad days. I'm afraid a whole one will put me in coma.
