The absence of pain does not mean that everything is ok. This needs to be evaluated. Please don't try to rely on internet sources to diagnose your problem. Even if the nerve is dead you must have rct or an extraction!

See your dentist: Regardless, a tooth pain won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. You can use Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain control. See a dentist ASAP for assessment and treatment.
