Neck crackling: Lots of people have neck sounds when turning their heads, especially if they've been laying still for awhile or have arthritic joints. This does not have to mean disease, but it can be inflammation. A chiropractor can do high velocity, low amplitude adjustments which might help temporarily. If there is pain, please see your primary care physician though.
