Restlessness is: Considered a short-term side effect of Prednisone and should stop shortly. It likely has some dose-dependent property to this side effect, and you are almost done. The half-life of Prednisone is 1 hour, so it is out of your system 5 hours after taking it. Best wishes.

A little longer ?: It may takes couple of days after that, it is hard to say...It's not at all unusual for those with bipolar disorder to have a difficult reaction to prednisone. I hope you are taking it for a pretty important reason. Should try to save it for pretty urgent situations. Good luck!
