How long do side effects of prednisone 40mg last once stopping it? it was a 4 day dose. dizziness and weakness being the worse.

Up to 3 days: however, that shouldn't be the case usually, some patients may experience prolonged biological effects with a relatively high dose as what you received few days after finishing the prescribed schedule, if symptoms stay or worsen, better call or see your doctor
