Not ovarian cancer: Only in very rare cases does ovarian cancer cause a positive pregnancy test. Embryonal cell carcinomas, ovarian choriocarcinomas, mixed germ cell tumors, and some dysgerminomas are the only ovarian cancers that produce HCG (positive pregnancy test). All of these types of tumors comprise less than 5% of all ovarian cancers. Have your local ob/gyn get an ultrasound of your pelvis.
