Fibroids can grow: If you are in your 20's or 30's, then fibroids most definitely can grow in size and number. Folks in their mid 40's tend to have fibroids that will shrink in time. If you are finished having children, the your local ob/gyn doctor may suggest that you have a hysterectomy, since you have chronic pelvic pain.

It is unlikely: That your pain is related directly to a fibroid that is this size. You should be evaluated for other causes related to bowel or bladder and other gym causes.
