A member asked:

Im having sharp chest pains on left side of chest above my breast when i breathe in?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest pain: That is unlikely a heart problem as it changes with breathing so one down of the bad things. It could be pleurisy or inflammation of the linings of the lung and chest wall, or musculoskeletal as in the muscles in between the ribs that get stretched with breathing. In any case try advil or aleve (naproxen) or your Ibuprofen and see, and then go see your doctor and discuss it.
