Pleurisy or costochondritis: Costochondritis is an inflammation often caused by a virus in the Cartlidge in your ribs it will hurt when you breathe and if you press on it. If it hurts when you breathe but not if you press on it it's more likely pleurisy. If it's not too bad heat and anti-inflammatories like Motrin will help. This does take a long time to improve so don't get frustrated if your symptoms get worse see your doctor
