Proteinuria: You have 1 gram of proteinuria/day (p), which is a lot. Your physician should send off blood for aso, anca 2, complement C3 and c4, hiv, hepatitis b antibodies, hb a1c and ana. A renal biopsy may be needed, to get a diagnosis and a prognosis if the blood work does not give a diagnosis of your p. Your p needs to be treated and once a diagnosis is made, you can start on a course of treatment.
