Wouldn't think so: I would not think that tmj/tmd can kill anyone, but there are circumstances that there can be closed-locking of the jaw- meaning that some people cannot open their mouth wider than even their little finger. If this is not relieved, eating and nutrition can be affected. Emotionally, some people who suffer the pain get so dispondent, that they may want to take their lives.

No.. not directly: Tmd is a dysfunction of the jaw joint or affiliated structures. It could reduce one's ability to eat but there is always a liquid diet. Some people may become depressed and i suppose that could lead to suicide... But that would be rare.

TMJ/TMD: Temporomandibular joint disorder (tmj/tmd) cannot kill you. It can cause chronic pain in the jaw, face, neck, shoulders, around the ear, and migraine headaches. It is usually caused by chronic teeth grinding and/or clenching, and/ or a bad bite. It is often related to stress, and is often associated with sleep apnea. In most cases it is treatable.

No: No, your jaw joint is just that a joint. It would be a similar question to having a bad knee and asking if that could kill you.

Guess not: If tmj/tmd was fatal it would have been noted in the literature. Joint problems are debilitating, mostly chronic but sometimes acute, painful, limit motion, but not life threatening. As malocclusion is causative or contributory to most tmj/tmd problems, i would suggest that you consult with an orthodontist.

No: The extent and frequency vary widely from occassional mild aches and pains to severe chronic and sometimes debilitating pain and disruption of function. As with any severe chronic problem, it can really drag one down emotionally as well as physically. The good news is that a well trained and experienced dentist can treat it or refer to a 'specialist' who should be able to offer substantial relief.

No: No. Not a fatal disease. Definitely not. Chronic pain can however make your life miserable.
