Not dangerous: The perception of moving gas related to normal gastrointestinal motility is normal. Some people perceive this more than others, but is not abnormal.

Not likely: You have a history of kidney failure so your concern is understandable. The part about passing gas or not and feeling gas move is probably related to normal digestion. I am more concerned with your flank pain. Is it related to your kidneys? What caused you kidney failure? Preventing any further damage to your kidneys is first priority. See your kidney doc soon.
