What does your Dr: Say who gives you the protonix (pantoprazole)? It is still possible to reflux even if you have nl egd. Do you still have symptoms if you sleep in a recliner? Do you sleep in waterbed? I've had several pts have worse reflux there for some strange reason. You could have further tests such as UGI or gastric ph measurements to further evaluate for reflux.

See your PCP first.: The pain is referred pain from your stomach. Try not to go bed 3 hours after your last meal and do not lie on your back and raise your pillow to a 45 degree angle. Go back to your pcp because he might have to change the dose of your Protonix (pantoprazole) or add another medication.
