Celexa (citalopram) and reflux: Gastrointestinal symptoms (including reflux exacerbation), as well as mild nausea, frequency, loss of appetite, or sour stomach are common symptoms on beginning an SSRI (like celexa). The good news is, in most cases, these side effects pass in about 3 days, with no intervention. If your side effects last longer, call your prescribing MD. Always call your doc before you make any med changes.
