This is my 4th day taking protonix (pantoprazole). today i have abd and stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. is this common? was on prilosec b4 had no issues.

Common side effects: Make sure you are taking medication correctly. Do not crush or chew. If granules, take 30 minutes before meals. Give it a few more days and your body may adjust to the medication. If not contact your doctor.
