Yes...: Yes you can take it in order to get yourself ready for a pregnancy, in other words, you can start it out from pre-pregnancy to postpartum. But other than that, don't take prenatal vitamins.

Unnecessary: What medical professional recommended taking vitamins? Why would someone not pregnant take prenatal vitamins? They do not in any way assist with fertility.
