Several things: A few questions: are you a contact lens wearer? Did you traumatize the eye? Is the vision ok? These answers will shed light on the cause which could be infection, abrasion, dryness or allergy. If the symptoms are persistent and resist ordinary eyedrops, then you should see an ophthalmologist.
