20 years ago i was shot in my eye. i'm completely blind in it. it also still has a few bird pellets in it. it will sometimes turn very very red, burn and have sever pain in it. is this normal?

no this is not normal. In an eye which is blind and painful it is ofter recommended to have it removed for pain control and cosmesis. Alternative treatments such as medication are available but less successful. Get an Ophthalmology exam,
