Learning disability: There are experts in assessing learning disorders. This may be a form of dyslexia or some other extant issue. Would go first to her pediatrician to be sure there is no central neurological deficit, and if otherwise normal, find a learning disorder specialist. Suspect your pediatrician can guide you. 8 yr old-memory prob: Your daughter may be having some problem with learning disabilities. Discuss this with her doctor to see if she should be tested. Be sure her hearing and vision are normal.
