A member asked:

My dad had bypass surgery on 2004(60 age) and again we took ecg yesterday and the result says that there might be 2 blocks? will that beanseriousprob

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CAD: After bypass, the arteries can get clogged again, especially if the problem of cholesterol, dm, hypertension, smoking are not controlled. Some types of vessels clog faster than others. It is always serious as heart attack can occur. The doctors can reconsider revising or redoing the procedure after a cath to determine which vessels. I wish him the best.
