A member asked:

I have sub clinical hypothyroidism and increased my dose recently because my level for tsh was 2.6. in range. is it possible to feel symptoms at 2.6?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

TSH of 2.6: A TSH of 2.6 is normal, therefore, i would ask you to ask your doctor to look elsewhere than your thyroid for the answer to your symptoms and get a plan to treat them. Other things cause symptoms of hypothyroidism in those patients with a normal tsh. Good luck.
